Crocus 80 Theatre is excited to bring back its Summer Youth theatre program!

“The program is 100% free to youth aged 8 to 18. This program will give a new generation the opportunity to see how a production is made by putting one on themselves, said President, Brittany Nightingale.”

Wanting to ensure everyone gets a part Crocus 80 has scheduled registration at 6:30 pm this Thursday and Friday, May 25 and May 26 at the Tommy Douglas Centre.

“We do registration prior to ensure we'll pick a production for anyone who wants a part!”

For those more interested in the technical side of theatre, Nightingale shared there are spaces available for those who want to work backstage learning lights and sound.

“We can't wait to share our love of theatre with young people!”

Rehearsals will take place at the Tommy Douglas Centre and are scheduled to begin June 20 and will wrap up by performing the production for the community August 11 and 12.
