The long-awaited return of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will roll into Weyburn on Sunday, December 18th.

It's fun for the whole family, with train cars decked out in holiday lights, and performances by Alan Doyle (of Great Big Sea), and holiday train fan-favourite Kelly Prescott.

"The Holiday Train is out this year, so we're very excited about that. It hasn't been around in two years, so we're excited to go and enjoy an evening of fun," said Shannon Fodchuk, Community Ministries Worker with the Weyburn Salvation Army.

"We'll be accepting non-perishable food items and donations down at the train that evening."

"It's a Sunday evening, so it's great for families, so everybody is able to come."

She added hot chocolate will be served, and the show arrives just after dark, coming up from Estevan.
