A planned service outage is scheduled for SaskTel customers in the Kipling area overnight tonight.

In a release issued this morning, SaskTel advised Kipling was one of 11 communities that will be without SaskTel internet, wireless and landline services from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The other communities that are affected by the planned outage are Broadview, Grenfell, Kahkewistahaw First Nation, Marieval, Moosomin, Ochapowace First Nation, Sakimay First Nation, Wapella, Whitewood and Wolseley.

The Crown communications company is advising that in the case of an emergency during the outage, residents will need to physically contact their nearest emergency services. This includes the RCMP.

Services are expected to be completely restored by 6:00 a.m.
