Elder Harrison Endicott and Elder Braydon Hullinger, missionaries from the United States, are currently fulfilling their mission with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Weyburn.

Elder Hullinger who is from American Falls, Idaho, shares how his missionary work brought him to Weyburn, “So what we do is we are called to a certain place on a mission. So right now, we're serving in what's called the Canada Winnipeg Mission, which covers all of Saskatchewan, all of Manitoba and part of Northwest Ontario, which is very big, it takes 22 hours to get from one end to the other and we serve in this mission for two years and we spend about three to six months in each area.”

Coming from Huntsville, Utah, Elder Endicott shares the destinations they are to visit are somewhat of a mystery, “We apply to serve as missionaries for our church, and that application gets processed and accepted, and then we don't know where we're going to go. They pick for us where we're going to go. We don't get any say in it. But we believe that it's through revelation, that our church leaders receive that we're called to a certain place. I can testify to that because I know that every place I've been, there's been someone that I've needed to help or someone that I've needed to meet.  It's such a cool experience.”

As part of their work and service to Weyburn and area, the missionaries will be hosting a games night, and all are welcome to join the festivities.

“We've got board games, we've got things like Uno, Phase 10, just some cool card games,” shared Hullinger.

The games night will be held on Wednesdays beginning at 6 p.m. and running to 7:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 425 10th Ave. S.E. Pre-registration is not required, however, for more information you can call (306)897-8277.
