A new series will premiere on August 10th on Netflix, called 'Painkiller'.

It's, "a fictionalized telling of real events, explores some of the origins and aftermath of the opioid crisis in America, highlighting the stories of perpetrators, victims, and truth-seekers whose lives are forever altered by the invention of OxyContin."

While Keating's is not a feature role, those who may happen to recognize her can confirm here that it is Weyburn's own 45-year-old Toronto-based actor.

"I had a great time working on this one," she told on social media recently.

Keating has starred in a number of television shows, including Anne with an E, The Mysterious Benedict Society, and Defiance.
