Blue Jays closer Jesse Accardo balked in the tying run in the bottom of the ninth inning last night and the New York Yankees scored in the bottom of the 10th inning, to get by the Jays 3-2.

The Jays playoff hopes continue to fade.

Toronto is 11 games back of Boston in the A.L. East and 10 games back of Cleveland in the American League Wildcard.

This afternoon the Jays look to 5-3 Shawn Marcum to stop the bleeding against the Bronx Bombers.

You can catch this afternoon's game on your voice of the Blue Jays starting at 5 pm
