A dessert and concert fundraiser will be held June 19th at Knox Hall presented by the Friends of Isaiah Evans.

"Isaiah's family attends the Free Methodist Church, and they wanted to host something for Isaiah's fundraiser, but there is some work getting done on the church, and they weren't sure when, so Knox Hall has offered us a free space to use," shared Shannon Seitz.

She said the Weyburn Comprehensive School's Rise Choir will be singing at the event.

"Isaiah's older brother Liam is in the choir and he really wanted to perform to raise money for Isaiah," she noted.

Seitz said she's looking for people to donate baking for the event, which she will collect on June 18th at Knox Hall between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Anyone interested in helping out with that can text her at 306-861-0123.

The doors will open at 6:00 on the Monday, and the show starts at 6:30 p.m.

"We have a few performers, and will be wrapping things up by 8:30," she said. "There will be desserts and coffee served, and it's just a donation at the door."

She said Isaiah will be coming to watch his brother perform and meet some new people in the community.

"So it's a good opportunity to meet him and the family and come out, listen to some good music and have some desserts."
