The big day has come to a close - the 42nd Annual Communithon ran all day today and they beat their goal.

The fundraiser today, held beginning at 8:00 a.m. , hit six figures, exceeding the goal by hitting $100,168, including an anonymous gift of $5,000 as they went off the air at 11 p.m. That’s right - they’ve exceeded their goal this year of $82,023. 

Ten community agencies will benefit from Weyburn and area's generosity.

Those community agencies are Big Brothers Big Sisters Weyburn, Canadian Mental Health Association Weyburn Branch, Community Low Income Centre, CNIB Foundation, Envision Counselling and Support Centre, Inclusion Weyburn, Southeast Advocates for Employment, Spinal Cord Injury Saskatchewan, Weyburn Care-a-Van, and Weyburn Youth Centre. (Note: all hyperlinks are to the respective Facebook pages.
