Weyburn's Darien Herlick, along with Tommy Danielson of Saskatoon, played all four days at the Canadian Junior Boys' Golf Championships, which concluded Thursday in North Bay, Ontario.

While five other Saskatchewan golfers did not make it to the final 36 holes, Herlick and Danielson came in under the 8-over par cut line at the North Bay Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.

According to Golf Saskatchewan, Herlick made the cut by shooting 78 in round one but vaulted up the leaderboard on Tuesday, thanks to a 73. Herlick carded an 85 during round three, and 79 in the final round for a total of 27-over par, 315.

The next Canadian Championship is the Mid-Amateur Men's Championship at the Algonquin Golf Course in St. Andrews, New Brunswick on August 24th. Saskatchewan will have 12 players on the field.
