Local athletes represented Weyburn with strong showings at the 2024 Royal Road Race, held this past Saturday at the RCMP Depot in Regina. 

Alex Clarke placed 7th in Female Open 10k race, with Grecia Tessier and Jess Ziegler also competing in the 10k female open.

Trevor Tessier placed 8th in the male 10k open, while Glenn Rogers placed 6th in the men’s 10k Masters and Jim Grieg came in 20th in the Masters 10k.

Twila Walkeden finished 15th in the female Masters 10k.

Stephenie and Nicole Hunter also representing our region in the 5k female masters race.
